The mountain village of Sarangkot is situated high above the valley of Pokhara but offers one of the best mountain views of the breathtaking Annapurna range. It is also the home of our guide Ba'le so we followed the locals up the winding road up to the top on foot.

After a solid couple of hours we finally reached Sarangkot and met Ba'le at his home where we were greeted by his family and some rather hungry goats with a shoe fetish. Ba'le showed us around the village and explained that the surrounding farms grew mainly corn, wheat, millet and mustard then spent the afternoon kicking back and shooting the breeze till the sun went down.
