Kakadu hats - how to measure your head

Wrap a tape measure or a piece of string (if you use string, you'll need a ruler as well) around your head so that it is above your eyebrows and about 1cm / half and inch above your ears. No need to pull too tight - remember you want your hat to be comfy!

There are some slight variations in size depending on the fabric used for the hat - thicker materials mean the hat fit will be a bit tighter and thin fabrics a bit touch looser

Gibson Kangaroo Leather Hat

The Gibson moves with you through it. Light on the head, packable when the track narrows, pulled down when the sun lifts hard over the ridgeline. Kangaroo leather flexes as you move, soft from the first wear but tough enough to shrug off dust, wind, and the odd scrape against rock.

Waxy kangaroo leather

Premium kangaroo leather enhanced with a wax finish for enhanced texture and water resistance

Care

Do not wash or dry clean – brush off surface dirt with a soft brush and/or wipe clean with a damp rag.
Periodically apply a leather wax to maintain water resistance and protect the finish.
To avoid oil transfer, keep away from light-colored fabrics, especially in warm conditions.
Avoid leaving leather goods in a hot car where the high temperatures may affect the quality and finish of the leather.
A good rule of thumb is - if it's too hot to touch, then it's too hot for your hat!

Arrived at last

Love my Gibson British post delayed my enjoyment but eventually it got here.
My second hat from Kakadu my first was cow hide , this is my first roo hat.
I loved my first hat but I absolutely bloody love the roo one ,lighter and just nicer to wear.
My advise is buy one now!
