Material & Care

Dry waxed canvas

Durable 100% densely woven cotton canvas treated with a specially formulated dry wax to repel wind and water. Dry waxed canvas has a matte, non-greasy finish that is highly durable, suitable for rugged outdoor use and stylish enough for urban environments

Care
  • Do not wash or dry clean – brush off dirt and debris with a soft brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
  • Apply dry wax periodically to maintain water resistance and restore the fabric's finish.
  • Avoid leaving dry waxed goods in a hot car where the high temperatures may affect the quality and finish.
  • A good rule of thumb is - if it's too hot to touch, then it's too hot for your hat!

Good morning;
Yes, the package arrived but I had to pay the customs fees of €20.89, I didn't understand the reason for this additional payment, I really like the jacket, I must say that the length is right, perhaps a little big in terms of the chest and waist.
The fabric is very beautiful, I thought it was a little lighter.
But as said, it's a nice jacket.

Ok Jacket

I like the colour and features so am ok with jacket. It is not as waterproof/resistant as an outdoors waxed jacket should be. I just sprinkled water on it and about 50% soaked into the fabric. I have their Shepparton Vest of the same fabric and it gives the same results. I will use them as cold weather shells and for light rain. On the inside I found two flaps with button holes which I guess is to button in the Wooli Vest/Liner. I would have ordered both together if I had know but there is no mention in the description or product features. Kakadu would have gotten an extra sale and I would not need to place a second order and pay shipping. I emailed their customer services team a few weeks ago and no response. This is my forth purchase from Kakadu. I like their designs but I think they let themselves down with some quality issues, the customer service is sometimes good and sometimes poor, and missing information in their product descriptions and features e.g. Pilbara Jacket, Shepparton Vest, Wooli Vest. I figure a two star rating may get a response.

I ordered a size xl but it was far too large for me so I returned it for a size medium and Kakadu were really quick to exchange my coat.
The coat exceeded my expectations, it fits perfectly and the quality is superb
