After 3 days of gorging on Melakan cuisine, I was craving a digestive to get things moving. A little hard liquor should do the trick... After scaling the back streets I came across a little waterhole that has been around for over 100 years. The woman behind the bar tells us some of the history of the joint when the Japanese used to hand out and drink during the war. Started by her great grandfather, it's been in her family for over 3 generations and one of her sons will probably continue the legacy.

She recommends a locally distilled lychee infused clear whiskey to help with my digestion, and after 2 glasses I'm buzzed.
