Kalgoorlie Wide Brim Soaka Breeze Hat

Heat settles early along the coast at Mui Ne. Sand underfoot, low scrub behind you, the sea pulling everything forward. The walk is short but exposed. Sun straight overhead. No shade worth trusting. The Kalgoorlie sits wide and steady, brim doing the quiet work while you keep moving.

By midday the shoreline opens up. Kayaks slide into shallow water, plastic hulls scraping once, then clean. Arms burn, shoulders loosen, rhythm replaces thought. Salt dries on fabric fast. The hat breathes. It bends when it needs to. Nothing precious about it.

A great hat, but after buying two of the same size, one is too big, and the is correct.

Don't wait so long for a new hat

The hat on the right is 25+ years old, didn't realize how worn it has become. These hats will definatly last a while. I went with the larger brim this time. Shipping to Texas was quicker than I thought it would be. Double check the sizing as the new one is slightly larger than the old one in the same size. Love these hats

Great summer hat

Wet this hat and wear to cool you while working in the summer heat. I work on and off shore. I dip my hat in the water and place it on my head an air conditioner. It works beautifully. I switched to buying Kakadu hats last year. I won’t buy a hat from any other store! Thank you for a wonderfully made products! I tell all my friends from the USA to buy from your company

Nice for summer as mesh replaces leather so will hopefully help avoid the sweats. A little on the smaller sized though. So probably would go a size larger than normal.
