Material & Care

Dry waxed canvas

Durable 100% densely woven cotton canvas treated with a specially formulated dry wax to repel wind and water. Dry waxed canvas has a matte, non-greasy finish that is highly durable, suitable for rugged outdoor use and stylish enough for urban environments

Care

Do not wash or dry clean – brush off dirt and debris with a soft brush and wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Apply dry wax periodically to maintain water resistance and restore the fabric's finish.

Avoid leaving dry waxed goods in a hot car where the high temperatures may affect the quality and finish.

A good rule of thumb is - if it's too hot to touch, then it's too hot for your gear!

Really awsome vest!

The vest could not be better. The fit and the quality are perfect.
The delivery to germany just took a couple of days and we had no problems what so ever.

Awesome vest

Love the vest fits well, more than I can say for the hat I ordered at the same time. Hat is to small and there is no address on their site for international courier returns because they won't deliver to PO boxes.

I really like the vest, nice that it doesn’t have the oil skin greasy feel.
Only wish I had of ordered it for Father’s Day and would have received the cool Kakadu matching cap as a bonus.

Great Vest

The website chat service helped me order the correct size. I am 1.7m tall and 83kg, broad shoulders and an expanding fat gut, the large size fits perfect. The warehouse team got my order on the courier in only a couple of hours, thanks everybody. I received it in NZ in one week. I love this vest already. The Rust colour is awesome. Add to it the leather trim and it is a great looking vest and comfortable. Good canvas construction and I like that it is lighter in weight and not oily like my oilskin. I was surprised to find two inside pockets (not mentioned in the description). I tested them out, they have enough space to each hold up to three full size phones. The external chest pocket will easily take a mob phone and zip closed to secure it. This is my third item from Kakadu and you don't disappoint. Good prices, robust products and great designs with attention to important details.
